Fast Cash NO SCAM - Wednesday, March 05, 2008
THIS REALLY WORKS!!!!
"WHAT'S 6 BUCKS? IT COULD BE 6 GRAND!!!
IT'S WORTH A TRY... BUT YOU'VE GOT TO FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS EXACTLY !"

A little while back, I was browsing through newsgroups, just
like you are now, and came across an article similar to this that said you could make
thousands of dollars within weeks
with only an initial investment of $6.00! So I thought, "Yeah,
right. This must be a scam."
But like most of us, I was curious, so I kept reading.
Anyway, it said that you send $1.00 to each of the 6 names and
addresses stated in the
article.
You then place your own name and address on the bottom of the
list at #6, and post the
article
in at least 200 newsgroups. (There are thousands.) No catch --
that was it. So after
thinking it
over, and talking to a few people first, I thought about trying
it.
I figured, "what have I got to lose except 6 stamps and $6.00,
right?" Like most of us I
was a
little skeptical and a little worried about the legal aspects of
it all. So I checked it out with
the
U.S. Post Office (1-800-725-2161) and they confirmed that it is
indeed legal! (Also refer
to
Title 18: Sec. 1302 & 1341 of the Postal lottery laws.) Then I
invested the measly $6.00.
Well... GUESS WHAT???... Within 7 days, I started getting money
in the mail! I was
shocked! I figured it would end soon, but the money just kept
coming in. In my first
week, I
made about $25.00. By the end of the second week, I had made a
total of over $1,

More Info on Damaged Bikes - Wednesday, February 27, 2008

I spoke with the USFS today regarding my claim.  They told me that thier general council would make a determination next week on how the claims are processed.  The two processing options are 1. individual or 2. as a group.  If the determination is number 2 that means all 23 claims have to be submitted before they even start processing them.  Obviously, option number 1 is best for all of us.  If you agree, please call the USFS and put pressure on them to select option number 1 and the mean time, please get your claims in as quick as you can.  I'm currently totally without a bike as mine was completely destroyed and I don't have a back up.  I really need my settlement check.  Thanks so much and good luck.  Heidi

Damaged Bikes - Tuesday, February 26, 2008

Hello to my fellow racers that lost thier road bikes during the race.  My bike was completed destroyed and it was my only road bike.  So, I'm trying to fast track the claim process so I can get a new bike.  Rather than wait for paper work to come to me, I called the Albuquerque USFS Service Center at 1-877-372-7248 and they emailed me the claim forms.  I called the State Police at 505-287-4377 and they faxed me the police report.  I submitted my claim to the USFS today.  They advised that it can take up to 6 months to recieve a check.  I hope this info is helpful.  Good luck.   Heidi

Mt. Taylor athletes - Wednesday, February 13, 2008
Just wanted to share some interviews I did with three of the top Mt. Taylor champs from previous years: Josiah Middaugh, Eric "Sully" Sullivan and Lisa Goldsmith. I'm running them this week at http://www.theoutdoorjourney.com/journey and hope they can provide some inspiration to those athletes taking the challenge. School and work have me stuck here this time, so doing the interviews was the closest I could get to making it out this year.

Mountain conditions January 30 - Wednesday, January 30, 2008

The bike leg was wet this morning, and there is a lot of cinder on the pavement. From the start of the run, the road is snowpacked and it continued to snow lightly all morning, and the snow was blowing around everywhere. If the road doesn't get plowed, there will be some drifts to navigate. Three days in a row of snow, and the ski leg has a nice packed base with powder on top, if you get off the pack you'll sink 1-2 feet in places. Big drifts in 1st meadow and at the base of Heartbreak, that's as far as I made it in the blizzard. Should be a good weekend to train.

Any skiers and/or snowshoers out there? - Saturday, December 29, 2007

We are looking for a skier and snowshoer for the 2008 Quad.  Can be one person or two.  My wife will do the bike-run segments but has done the Quad a couple of times before and hates the ski.  She'll have a solid bike-run split, competitive for a female, but not "elite."  Goal is really to participate and have fun!  Email krkelley@hotmail.com and enter "Quadrathlon" in the message section.  Thanks!
